Memorial Day Weekend!

For Memorial Day weekend we went to my in-laws lake house for the day with Ryan's family.  The kids are at the perfect age for the lake now.  No naps and they are great swimmers so we don't have to watch them on the dock as closely.
I loved hanging with my sweet sister-in-law!

Seeing the three cousins together made my heart so happy!
Can you tell he loves being an Uncle??

The water was crowded since it was a holiday weekend, but we managed a boat ride and fun on the tube before it got too bad.

 First family picture with Addie!
This is a framer for sure!
The twins both fell asleep on the drive home and woke up the next morning ready for a fun day at home before their last week of school.  We have been doing a lot of family bike rides lately.  I love how they will still go in their matching pjs through the neighborhood.
We love to cook and Bobo has been begging to make homemade pickles!  The turned out really good actually!

We ended the weekend cooking as a family and cooling off in the sprinkler...doesn't get better than that!   We are sooo ready for summertime!

Recital take 4!

This year we stayed in town for the long Memorial Day Weekend so we could see this little one dance!  Ellie had her dance rehearsal Friday night and the recital Saturday.  She absolutely loves to dance.   She starts counting down to the recital weeks before!  This year the picked her ballet/tap combo class to do tap for the performance.  I will admit Ellie was bummed...she loves ballet, but she ended up loving the neon colored costume and the fun dance that she got to do!

She had so many sweet friends in her ballet class, including these two in her Kindergarten class at school too!

Also shout out to this guy.  For 4 years he has gone with me weekly to take her and waits patiently with me weekly while she is in class.  Then this was his sweet face as we watched her on stage.

One of her favorite parts is going to lunch in her costume after.  We are switching dance studios next year so she can do a more serious ballet program, but I hope she continues to dance and love it as much as she does now!
