Not a lot happening in our house lately. Mostly just playing, cooking, boat rides and watching movies. One day last week we had blinds hung in kids room and it took forever! It was already nap time so I let the twins watch a show in my bed while we waited for the blinds people to finish up. I came in the room and saw them snuggling together under our cover. Didn't want to forget this memory. Love these two and their bond so much!
We went to several sporting events this week including two Hornets games and NC State's bowl game! We won one of the Hornets games but overall our teams didn't do so well this week! Here is Holly and I with the Hornets #1 fan Susie...if you watch these games on TV you will more than likely see her because she gets lots of face time hah!Our dear friends The Robersons came to Charlotte for the State game and thankfully we had some of the only seats under the overhang because it poured the entire game!!
Ryan and I walked a few blocks after the bowl game to the hornets game...back to back sporting events was fun but exhaulsting!
Finally this weekend we had a break in the rain and we were eager to get our new boat in the water! Graham wanted to color a boat picture while he waited for Ryan to get the boat ready.
This was one excited little boy for his first ride!!
My two favorite guys! The water is not normally this brown and muddy looking, but with all the rain and flooding lately it looks worse!
Almost every night after baths now we head to the basement and watch part of a movie. The kids love making pop corn, turning all the lights off and snuggling before bed.
Our new house is mostly empty and in need of some furniture and design. I dragged the family to one of my favorite spots to shop and we packed a lunch. Ellie loves to shop with her mommy!!!
And of course another boat ride. The limit says 285lbs, but we all fit without sinking!
By the last boat ride of the day the temperature had dropped so we got all our winter gear on and cruised around.
Burgers, collard greens and sweet potato fries for dinner!
And more snuggling and movie watching. We are absolutely loving our new house and I am trying to gather all the pictures and project details to get a blog post up soon!!
Can't wait to see all the new home pics!
