Twins go hunting!

My twins besties happen to also be twins! For their 4th birthday they requested going to their family hunting lodge with our twins!  We met at their house in Charlotte early in the morning and then followed them to the hunting lodge (only about 1 hour away).

 We stopped to get some live bait!

 We took lots of "big boy buggy" rides!

 They have a great fishing spot!

 I thought I was going to catch the biggest fish until Ryan and John got this swamp monster!

 We let the kids do some target shooting.

 Went on a long hike and found a park!

 That night we made smores, set off fireworks and played!  The next morning we sang to the twins and went mudding.  It had rained hard all night long and there was mud and puddles everywhere.  We ended up running out of clean clothes and let the kids run around in pjs.

 One more fishing adventure before heading home.

The combination of two sets of twins who adore each other, fresh country air and a sleepover made it the perfect weekend for these four friends!
