Alllllll Aboard!

Last week the elves surprised the twins with new pjs, a peppermint milkshake and polar express tickets!
We have wanted to go to the Polar Express at the NC Transportation Museum for a few years, but this age was the perfect time.  There was so much to do around there while waiting for our train to leave.
When the train pulled up all the characters from the movie got on stage and acted out the scene from the movie.  Then each child got a ticket and was greeted by the conductor.

Once we got to our seats the chefs came out and sang the hot chocolate song from the movie.  The kids were blown away!
We got cookies and hot chocolate before they read the story of the polar express.
We sang lots of Christmas Carols before arriving at the North Pole!
We got off the Polar Express and saw the characters act out another part of the movie.
When we got back to our seats Santa came and gave each child an engraved silver Christmas bell.
 "I hear it Mommy!"
I was absolutely blown away by this experience.  I had in my mind it would be a cheesy 20 min over priced ride, but it was so well planned and magical!

The kids loved us all having matching pjs(except Ryan of course)...even Annie got some!
