11 months

Well we have one more month until you are 1 year old.   This month has brought on mixed emotions. You are both growing and developing so much.  Crawling all over and pulling up on everything.  Leraning and exploring every day.  I am so sad to not have babies anymore, but excited about all your new adventures! You both moved into your big car seats.  Although you are more comfortable in them it does make it more difficult for me to load and unload you in your stroller and take you into friends houses alone!   You have pretty much tried all foods at this point and aren't very picky.  You are becoming your own little people and are more and more different each day that each other.  Crazy how you are raised at the same time and so different! You guys are becoming such good friends too!  You crawl and follow each other all over the house!

Our schedule these days:
7-7:15AM wake up.  You still sleep great at night! You drink an 8 oz bottle and then watch TV in your "cage" while Mommy and Daddy drink their coffee and get breakfast ready.   You eat breakfast around 8 and then we play and I chase you around.    You take a nap from 9-10:30.   We change clothes and usually go run errands during this time.  You eat lunch around 12 and drink a 6 oz bottle around 12:30/45.  We play a little while and read books.  You nap again from 1-3/3:30.  You don't sleep as long in the afternoon as you used to, but still love your morning nap so I am ok with two medium naps for now.  You have a snack when you wake up and then we play/walk with friends.  Since it has been a little colder we might go play at someones house which you both seem to like a lot.   We have also started walking around the neighborhood before it gets dark. At 5:30/6PM we feed you dinner.  Then we take baths and you drink another 6 oz bottle before bedtime at 6:45/7PM.

Hard to keep you still for long....

Graham:
Nicknames- G, Bubba and BoBo
You weigh 21 lbs!  You have 4 teeth. You have had a rough month.  You have been very fussy and very needy.  You are loving my full attention and being held.  I even took you to the Dr recently cause I thought something was wrong with you after you were so sweet and quiet last month....but Dr said you are just going through a "needy phase".  You still love your car/walker and holding on to our fingers and walking...walking....and walking.  You love love walking!  I bet you will walk on your own by next month! You constantly have something in both your hands.  You love bananas and meat and apple sticks(I cut apples in long skinny sticks) but will eat about anything.  You are very into stacking and unstacking or collecting things.  When I do the laundry I will drop socks and you go around picking them up and trying to hold as many as your sweet little hands will hold at once. You are getting a little more hair and have this one piece that sticks straight up!  You constantly roll your wrist with your arms straight out...we call it "Cranking the Crabtree" after one of your favorite players on the 49ers.  You still suck your two middle fingers when you sleep.

crazy girl always on the move....

Ellie:
Nicknames- Bug and Sissy...and sometimes Stinker
You weigh 20 lbs.  You are still interested in bottles unlike your brother.  You love baby food and will eat well, but we usually have to help you put it in your mouth.  You love scrambled eggs, blueberries and grilled cheese....or any kind of cheese.  You are wearing size 3 diapers and size 9-12 month clothes.  You love crawling and standing up in your crib.  You are into EVERYTHING!  I definitely have to watch you like a hawk. Your still a constantly babbler!  You have 5 teeth. You are easily scared and not a fan of loud noises! You are constantly smiling and very very smart.  We can show you something once and you will do it.  My favorites this month are you dance when you hear music, play peek-a-boo and stick out your tongue when asked "Where is your tongue?"  You have become even more interested in books.  We have a basket of them in the playroom and you empty them all out and then have little conversations with the books!  You have started carrying toys or your lovie around in your mouth which cracks us up! You are still attached to your pink elephant lovie and have to have it to sleep while sucking your thumb:)

That is it for this month....now off to plan your first birthday party......
