Today was absolutely gorgeous! We got up and out the door early to be the first ones at the Strawberry Patch! We all four love strawberries and there is a local all organic farm called Wise Acres about 30 min away!
They had a little place to shop and buy stuff and some chickens!
They had a "parking lot" of wagons and even a fake gas pump!
There were rows and rows and rows of plump juicy red strawberries!
Ellie was so sweet and focused and loved the hunt of the berry!
Graham was only interested in consuming the berries haha!
I had to tell him to slow down because he had crammed about 3 big berries in his mouth at once!
After we filled up two containers we loaded up to go pay!
They had tons of different types of swings around, but this was our favorite!
Snack time included an Organic Strawberry Slushy and Popcorn popped with Organic Coconut Oil ah-mazing!
They had a little play area where Ellie found her favorite....Monkey Bars! This girl is a born "hanger".
Once we got home and the kids went to bed I started baking!
These Strawberry Chia Seed Muffins seriously taste like Strawberry cake! Healthy breakfast for next week!
Once the kids woke up we made "ice cream" which was frozen bananas and fresh strawberries and a teaspoon of almond extract (basically an ice cream smoothie). They are getting to the age where they love helping in the kitchen!
The Ice Cream was a big hit!
We now kind of want to eat all these strawberries and go back again!!!!
