Beach Buddies and Sister Wives

The past week we have been at the beach with our sweet friends.  We had 5 kids under 3 years old!  Although there were some crazy moments, we had the best time and made so many sweet memories! This was my first solo trip with the kids and they don't always love the car so I was very prepared!  Ill do a separate blog post on the details, but here is the bin I had up front with me for the ride!
They woke up and were so excited to pack and hit the road early!  They kept saying "No more night nights! Time to go to the beach Mommy!"
The car ride was a big success!
Once we arrived we took naps and then suited up for the beach!

Ridley was a little timid at first, but then she saw Ellie acting crazy and jumping head first in the waves and she warmed up quickly.
Ellie is known to eat sand.....she behaved after the first day, but in this picture I asked her if she ate sand and she said "Yep ma'am"
Baby Wez is a beach baby for sure!
The beach house is far from the beach so we had to bike or stroll there.  Simpson and Barnes were riding in style though!

We had amazing weather the entire week.  Not too hot, but a little cloudy!
Loved watching Louise crawl and leave the sweetest sand trail behind her.
There were lots of laughs around the table.   Its hilarious listening to the three toddlers have conversations with each other.
These three are like a rat pack!  They just adore each other.

Emily and I have our hands full with these two free spirits!

It was hard to get a picture with the entire gang, but here is a decent shot!
Double the trouble, Double the fun!  Ice cream stroller ride home from the beach.
One night we got a few babysitters and just us mamas went for drinks and dinner at the Ocean course.

So relaxing sitting in an adirondack chair watching waves crashing and a beautiful rainbow while sipping some bubbly.

One afternoon it was hot and we had already showered after the beach and naps so we adventured out to the Nature Museum and park on the island.   Sweet "Enemy" (thats how Bobo pronounces Emily's name hahahaha) snuggled with them outside while we waited for her girls to wake up.
A few people asked if these three were triplets!
They loved the animals and wildlife at the museum, but these snakes were the highlight for sure.
For dinners we made tomato pie and one night some fresh seafood and veggies from the local market.
We also coordinated matching PJs one night.  Here the three older ones are doing the yoga butterfly pose.
Girls are fun, but these boys are the sweetest!

We attempted a bed pj pic....and these were the two best pics haha!

What a fun week!  So thankful for my mommy friends and their sweet kids.  Can't wait to go back in a week with Daddy!!!! Although I am over the car....a 3:45 min trip turned into almost 6 hours on the way home due to traffic!
