Since we returned from our trip we have not stopped going! We were so exhausted last night we went to bed at 8! We got home Sunday night at 8pm and Monday was a teacher work day from preschool, but we missed our friends so much we decided to go to the strawberry patch! First let me say my keyless entry to my car locked me out....once kids were in the car! So yes I have officially locked my kids in the car now!!! Even thought the sales guy said it is "impossible" to lock your keys in your car with a keyless entry.....let me tell you it is in fact possible! Luckily Graham wasn't buckled yet and was (after a lot of coaching) able to get my keys out of the console to unlock them. Not the way you want to start a Monday!
These four see each other every day so they missed being apart for an entire week!Snacks and a hay ride to start the morning off!
They picked lots of strawberries and then we stayed to have a picnic at the farm.
That night we went to a Hornets basketball playoff game...and they won!!!!

We have season tickets and were fortunate to be able to sit in our seats for both playoff games! We sit pretty close to Michael Jordan and I love watching his reaction during the game!
They tell me these crazy made up stories and they think they are absolutely hilarious...I usually just laugh at them and not really with them hah!
Thursday we had dance and them had a picnic and playdate at the Nature Museum. Thursday night we had family movie night. We made our favorite easy meal, meat and cheese plate, and ate in the basement.
I rented the new Peanuts movie and we laid in sleeping bags and enjoyed some down time!
Friday the kids were so excited to wear their hornets jerseys to school.Ryan and I played (he played and I observed) 9 holes of golf and had a lunch date outdoors before picking kids up from school. This has become my favorite way to spend a Friday! After naps we went to the Lees to help them break in their new pool!
Ellie and Adam kept ending up in the hot tub together haha!
Rachel made some cocktails and the moms mostly hung out in lounge chairs while the dads swam with the kiddos.
Ellie has always loved Uncle Andy, but she has been super attached to him lately. She even asked me to frame this picture for her room hah!
We left the pool around 5:30 and ran home to change clothes before walking down the street to our neighborhood movie night! These people know how to throw a party!
Tons of glow sticks and toys!
Movie night inspired photo booth!
They took vintage polaroid pictures, but I tried to snap one too.
Mostly Bobo ran around and Ellie hung out with the "big girls". She just adores all our neighbors.Around 7:30 we dropped the kids off at home to go to bed with a sitter and headed uptown for another playoff game. Unfortunately they didn't win, but what an amazing season!
Saturday morning we helped our sweet friend James celebrate his 3rd birthday!
We have been to several parties now with this train and the kids love it! He goes pretty fast and is very entertaining along the way!
We grabbed dinner with friends Saturday night and then Sunday joined a group at the White Water Center for their annual Hope Floats duck race. We were part of team Madilyn and honored to help raise money for such a great cause.
Ellie loves her godparents so much!
The big kids were able to rock climb after the race.
Then we joined the Lees for dinner. Ellie and Ryan have a sweet bond. He kept asking to pick her up and snuggle with her.
Poor Andy can't even finish a meal without Ellie attached to him haha!
Now here we are another Monday and another fun week planned!
