Today started very early....Ryan didn't turn his alarm off before getting in the shower at 6:30. I was in the kitchen making coffee when I heard a very loud obnoxious beeping noise followed by two kids screaming! Like I said, not the best start to the day. We got them up and watched cartoons. On the bright side Ryan never sees the kids in the morning so at least he got to see them today:) After breakfast we made and played with play dough!
Our scheduled playdate got pushed back an hour due to weather (soooo wet outside) so we played at home for a bit.

Lots of fire trucks to watch this am! When they hear one they run to the nearest door or window to see.
Finally time to go play with friends! We go out a lot and play, but these two don't thrive in loud crazy environments. I noticed they kind of stood back and watched and played by themselves. Kinda sweet, but also not the point of a playdate haha! Graham and Ellie both fell and got boo boos which then caused tears and clinging to Mommy.

They did however love this Thomas ride and took turns driving and pushing each other around. Wish we had wooken up on the right side of the bed and were not quite as sensitive. After another melt down we decided it was time to go home for naps!
Thankfully Graham took a 3 and 1/2 hour nap and Ellie slept 4 hours! They were in way better moods when they woke up! Since this is one of the only nights this week Ryan is home we treated ourselves to pizza! We went to our favorite pizza place which has Photo Hunt for kids that we love to play while we wait for our pizza!
The twinkies "Grellie" have two of the top scores now!
We all went home and took baths to clean off the long day and played a little with Daddy before bed! This hump day gave me a run for my money, but hoping a good night sleep and those good naps today brings happy twinkies tomorrow!
