Labor Day Weekend

We have had a very long and eventful Labor Day Weekend.  We left at lunch time on Friday to go visit my family.  We hit lots of traffic and it took us a little under 4 hours to get there.  And Graham officially still HATES the car!  After we arrived we got settled in and the babies cheered up!  I have a big family and they LOVE babies so G and E were constantly entertained and played with!  We spent Friday playing outside, throwing some BP, grilling out and catching up!
 Me and Zach!
 Jake, Grayson and me.
 Ryan and Jake grilling steaks.
The next morning we played and Ryan and I left early to go to the first NC State home game.  It was the hottttttttest day of the summer so we left the babies at my parents house!  It was our first day away from the kids and we really enjoyed it despite the heat!
Babies loved being out on the screened in porch.
We were excited for NC State's first win of the season....Nothing like the first TD and W of the year!  Go Pack!

We left Sunday afternoon, but not before breakfast and playtime!  Graham loves his Uncle Jake!

Next we headed to Ryan's parents lake house.  Again babies hated the car, but were great other than that!

During nap time we left the kids with Mimi and Papa and went out on the boat.
After the kids woke up around 11 we all went out on the boat and played outside for a while.  The weather was absolutely perfect for babies!  It was warm, but overcast so not too sunny!

Graham helping Papa drive the boat!
E loved the boat this time!!

Ellie has started loving to stand....we can't keep her still!
Graham is officially sucking his thumb.  We call it the "wolfpack" suck hah!
The guys blew up this "boat" for the kids to play in.

We dried off and played inside before nap time.  The twins both love airplane!!

We grilled oysters and had a low country shrimp boil for lunch!

Needless to say babies were exhausted by the time we got home Monday night!  Hoping to unpack and stay unpacked for a while after this weekend, but we really enjoyed our time with our families!!!
