Great start to the Holiday season!

Our holiday season started off with this little guy starting basketball!  He is the smallest, but happiest kid on the court each week.

We decorated gingerbread houses with friends.

 Story Time with Mrs. Clause.
 Found the perfect tree!!!

Made Chex Mix and Monkey Bread.  These may be two of my favorite holiday foods:)
Ellie had a lot of questions after hearing the song "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause".  We saw these funny masks/hats at Home Depot and she said "the Daddy was probably wearing this and just kissing his wife the Mommy" haha!

I celebrated the holidays with friends and hosted our annual Book Club Favorite Things party!

I got so many goodies this year!  My favs are probably the Apple Cider tea and the earrings!

We attended the annual Club Christmas Ball.  This is always a fun and late night!

We surprised the twins with new holiday pjs and a trip to McAdenville, aka "Christmas Town".

In McAdenville you drive through this small town and every house is festive and decked out in lights.  We played Christmas music and ate candy canes as we made our way through.  Next year hopefully the twins bedtime wont be so early and we can get out and explore the cute little town as well.
I love being a stay at home mom and being able to volunteer so much at the twins school.   They have so many ways for the parents to get involved including this Coffee before the Bell party!

The Head of School has an annual caroling and cookie party at his house, which is on campus.  The kids all get dressed up and walk to his house.  They talked about this the day for weeks!
This event is so sweet and special and something they have been doing for decades.  Several of our friends are alumni of the school and say they still remember doing this when they were younger.
Love this pic of all the kids faces.  Such a magical time of year!
They also had Crazy Holiday Attire day and PJ day!
I was able to volunteer for both of their holiday celebrations.

We also enjoyed an inch of snow and passed out Christmas treats to all the neighbors.
Although it seems we cram a lot in this time of year, I would not change a thing!!
