Thanksgiving

We have so much to be Thankful for, but most of all our family, faith and health.  I could not be happier spending time with my family in the kitchen this year.  We hosted Thanksgiving for the first time and had a blast doing it!  This little one was with me in the kitchen for two days prepping all the food in advance!
On Thanksgiving morning we only had to bake all the casseroles and make the deviled eggs.  Ryan smoked a turkey and fried another one, but he had those outside!  So inside was pretty easy!  We had the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on and enjoyed prepping for our feast together.

The turkeys both turned out perfect!
I also made homemade bread and cornbread for the stuffing!  We had green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, gravy and cranberry sauce.  It was the perfect amount and combination.

After the main meal we got outside and walked around the pound for some fresh air.
Bobo loves his Uncle Jared.
After our walk we came home to have dessert.  It was so nice outside we were able to enjoy dessert on the porch.  We also served a bottle of Port Wine we brought back from Porto, Portugal.  Still trying to figure out how to buy it in the States!

We are very thankful for this healthy niece in Aunt Catherine's belly too!
After a fun Thanksgiving day, Ellie and I woke up and went Black Friday shopping while the boys played golf!  I am hoping these activities will become lifelong traditions.
